Clayton Guillory

Clayton Guillory, 85, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 5:31 AM at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Ardoin Chapel in Mamou with Father Thainese officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
He was a former resident of the Beaver Community.
Survivors include a son, Michael Guillory and wife, Brenda of Warner Robins, Ga.; two daughters, Kay Pittman and husband, Paul of St. Francisville and Nancy Guillory and husband, Patrick of Eunice, one brother, Bill Guillory of Dequincy and one sister, Nora Lee Soileau of Ville Platte, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Guillory, his parents, Louis and Omerine Fontenot Guillory, three brothers, Calvin, Nelson and Alvin Guillory and four sisters, Joyce Fontenot, Dela Mae Guillory, Ella Rose Evans and Agnes Young. Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited in his honor on Thursday evening at 6 by Deacon Chuck Ortego; the Funeral Home will reopen on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services.
