Long-time coach
CROWLEY – Services for coach and law officer Clifton Oestriecher will be Friday. He died May 28 at age 71.
He had coached at Lake Authur, Belmont Academy, Notre Dame High, Kaplan High, Iota High, Church Point High, Crowley High and Crowley Middle School. He was commander of the Acadia Parish Sheriff Reserves.
Survivors include his wife Wanda, three sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Geesey-Ferguson.
Dentist
NEW ORLEANS – Services for long-time dentist, taxidermist and noted amateur golfer Dr. Alvin Bertucci will be Friday. He died May 27 at age 90.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He operated a dental clinic in Metairie for more than 30 years. He won several area golf tournaments.
Survivors include his wife June and four children.
Arrangements are by Lakelawn.
