Former police juror
WINNFIELD – Services for former police juror and dry cleaners owner Marvin “Moppy” Harrell are June 16. He died June 14 at age 89.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the New Guinea campaign in World War II and was a retired U.S. Army Reserve lieutenant colonel. He owned Harrell Cleaners for more than 50 years. He was a two-term police juror for Winn Parish and served on the City of Winnfield Fire Rating Committee.
Survivors include his wife Evelyn and a son.

Two-war POW
WINNSBORO – Services for two-war Prisoner of War William House will be June 16. He died at age 90.
He was a 101st Airborne veteran of World War II, during which he was a POW of the Germans and was a veteran of the Korean War, during which he was a POW of the North Koreans. He founded the Flag Program in Winnsboro.
Survivors include four children.
Arrangements are by Mulhearn.
Ochsner surgeon
NEW ORLEANS – Services for emeritus chairman of the Ochsner Department of Orthopedic Surgery Dr. Adolphus Dunn, Jr., Captain, U.S. Navy retired, will be June 17. He died June 13 at age 91 in Fripp Island, S.C.
He was active duty Navy Medical Corps for 21 years before joining Ochsner Medical Institution where he was chairman of orthopedic surgery for more than 20 years. He was the author of numerous articles about his medical speciality.
Survivors include two sons.
Arrangements are by Copeland, Beaufort, S.C.
