Counsel to governors
BATON ROUGE – Services for Pamela Perkins, legislative and legal affairs counsel to two congressman, a senator, three governors and a president, will be July 2. She died June 30 at age 66.
She was retired general counsel for the Louisiana Division of Administration, where she worked for Govs. Mike Foster, Kathleen Blanco and Bobby Jindol. She formerly worked in Washington, D.C. as legislative director for Reps. Edwin Edwards and John Breaux and then for Sen. Russell B. Long. She was a staff attorney for the Federal Trade Commission before becoming congressional liaison officer for President Jimmy Carter on transportation and marine matters.
Survivors include her husband Jay, a son, a daughter and her mother.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.

Internist
SHREVEPORT – Services for internist Dr. William Allums will be July 2. He died June 28 at age 93.
He practiced internal medicine with Drs. Hargrove and Hall and then in partnership with Dr. Dan Russell. He retired after 61 years’ practice.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.
