Long-time publisher
MONROE – Services for long-time weekly newspaper publisher and columnist Irma DeTiege will be July 5. She died July 1 at age 83.
She and her late husband Frank founded the Monroe Dispatch, which targets an African American audience, in 1975.
Survivors include a son, Frank Jr.
Arrangements are by Miller.
