Retired aviator
METAIRIE – Services for retired Lt. Col. (USAF) Edward Christiansen, Jr. will be Sept. 3 He died Aug. 28 at age 90.
He was a B-26 pilot veteran of World War II’s European theater, later flew more than 120 missions in the Berlin Airlift and later was a fighter pilot. He retired at the Air Force liaison to the Louisiana Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. He was former part-owner and manager of St. Charles Inn on St. Charles Avenue.
Survivors include his wife Sharon and three sons.
Arrangements are by Lake Lawn.

Jr. Achievement advocate
NEW ORLEANS – Services for Junior Achievement supporter Patrick Ross will be Sept. 6. He died Aug. 23 at age 69.
He was past chairman and board member of Junior Achievement of New Orleans. He was chairman of the board, CEO and founder of Hoist & Crane Service Group.
Survivors include his wife Lynne.
Arrangements are by Schoen.

Public attorney
NEW ORLEANS – Services for long-time attorney Louis Gruntz, Jr. will be Sept. 3. He died Aug. 29 at age 67.
He was a former deputy parish attorney and past president of the Louisiana Parish Attorney’s Association. He retired from the Jefferson Parish Attorney’s Office after 30 years service and working for seven parish presidents. He was city attorney for Kenner.
Survivors include several children.
Arrangements are by Greenwood.
