Legislative secretary
BATON ROUGE – Services for former legislative secretary and bishop’s secretary Cynthia Duhon will be Oct. 14 in Youngsville She died Oct. 10 at age 73.
She retired as executive secretary of the Acadiana Legislative Delegation and secretary of the Interim Emergency Board. She had previous worked in the governor’s office, the Dept. of Agrilculture & Forestry and the National Office of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was secretary to the first bishop of Baton Rouge.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter.
Businesses owner
BATON ROUGE – Services for business owner James Feigler will be Oct. 15 in Amite. He died Sept. 26 at age 76.
He owned Acadiana Limo Service and Crew Change, Yellow Cab, The Keg and many other businesses.
Survivors include two sisters.
Arrangements are by McKneely’s.
Missionary
DENHAM SPRINGS – Services for Baptist missionary William Allen will be Oct. 13. He died at age 89.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was in the church-planting ministry and started 31 churches in South Louisiana.
Survivors include his wife Erline, a son and a daughter.
