Former State Demo chairperson
NEW ORLEANS – Services will be Nov. 22 for long-time chairperson of the Louisiana Democratic Party Mary Lou Winters. She died Nov. 18 at age 79.
She served many years a chair and vice chair of the party. She was on the National Democratic Central Committee for 32 years. She was chief lobbyist for the Louisiana State Medical Society. She served eight years on the Louisiana Judiciary Commission and was its first female chair.
Survivors include her husband Harry and six children.
Arrangements are by Lake Lawn.

Art professor
ALEXANDRIA – Services for LSU Alexandria professor art Roy Deville will be Nov. 20. He died Nov. 18 at age 72.
Deville, a painter and potter, was in his 50th year of teaching. He won numerous state and regional awards for his work.
Survivors include his wife Mary and five children.
Arrangements are by John Kramer & Son.
