LSU System vice president emeritus
BATON ROUGE – Services for LSU System vice president emeritus Charles Martin will be Dec. 30. He died Dec. 26 at ae 90.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He joined the LSU System as university architect in 1965 and worked for the system the next 35 years.,
Survivors include his wife Lucile and two children.

Former Grambling librarian
GRAMBLING – Services for former Grambling State head librarian Hazel Johnson-Jones will be Dec. 30. She died Dec. 21.
She was a native of Port Gibson, Miss.

Radio station owner
NEW IBERIA – Services are Dec. 30 for radio station owner Sherry Lopez. He died Dec. 27 at age 83.
He owned and managed KNIR Radio.
Survivors include his wife Gaelyn and several children.
