Banker
LEESVILLE – Services for banker William “Bud” Droddy, Jr. will be Jan. 29. He died Jan. 25 at age 91.
He was an officer of Merchants and Farmers Bank for more than 25 years and a board member for more than a decade. He was a member of the city’s Planning Commission for many years. He helped charter the Vernon Association of Retarded Citizens and was a member of the executive board of St. Mary’s School for Special Children, Alexandria, for several years.
Survivors include his wife Janice and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Hixson.

Conservationist
MINDEN – Services for retired SCS Northwest La. area conservationist Coy McClung will be Jan. 31. He died Jan. 22 at age 96.
He first worked for the SCS in Marksville and retired as the area conservationist.
Survivors include several children.
Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.
