Former LSU prof
BATON ROUGE – Services for former chairman of the LSU Philosophy Department Dr. Charles Bigger, III will be Feb. 20. He died Feb. 15 at age 91.
He was a U.S. Army South Pacific veteran of World War II and was on the LSU faculty 31 years. He previously taught at Tulane and several other universities. He was first director of the Honors Division of the LSU College of Arts and Sciences and led Phi Betta Kappas in establishing the LSU chapter.
Survivors include his wife Anne and four children.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.
County Agent
CROWLEY – Services for long-time county agent and ULL instructor Kenneth DuBose were Feb. 16. He died Feb. 13 at age 60.
He was Acadia Parish County Agent for 20 years and taught in the ULL agriculture department.
Survivors include his wife Karen and two sons.
