KAPLAN – Services for educator and police juror Ritter Trahan will be Feb. 20. He died Feb. 16 at age 79.
He was Vermilion Parish Police Jury president from 2000 to 2004.
Survivors include two children.

Catholic educator
OPELOUSAS – Services for retired Sister Vivian Coulon MSC will be Feb. 20. She died Feb. 14 at age 91.
Also known as Sister Catherine of Siena, she was involved in elementary and high school education in Eunice, Ville Platte, New Orleans, Houma, Opelousas, Morgan City and Gretna. She was also assistant director of the Maryhill Renewal Center in Pineville.
Survivors include a sister and two brothers.
Arrangements are by Sibille.

Bowling official
SCOTT – Services for long-time bowling official Charlene Daspit will be Feb. 20. She died Feb. 16 at age 71.
She was director of the Louisiana Womens Bowling Association for more than 20 years. In 2012, she was the 600 Club City of Lafayette Tournament Champion.
Survivors include two daughters.
Arrangements are by Martin & Castille.

Advertising rep
SHREVEPORT – Services for long-time advertising representative Dorothy Goldsworthy Bryant are pending. She died Feb. 17 at age 94.
She had careers in modeling and advertising before joining The Shreveport Times. She was former president of the Centenary Women’s Club.
Survivors include a daughter.
