Liz Godeaux
Liz Godeaux, 48, died on Friday, December 19, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Interment will follow in the Brown-Godeaux Cemetery in Chataignier with Father Michael Champagne and Father Darren Eldridge officiating.
She was a legal assistant for the Law Office of Alice Bower. She was the first young girl who made a Cursillo. She was the youngest of fourteen children.
Survivors include her husband, Lance Dato of Fort Worth, Texas; her mother, Rose Godeaux of Swords; two children, London and Logan Trundle; a granddaughter, Emmaleigh Trundle; four brothers, Edward Andrepont and Dewey Godeaux, both of Swords, Ray Allen Godeaux of Point Blue and Roland Godeaux of Lafayette; six sisters, Anna Darbonne of Carencro, Katherine Joubert of Baton Rouge, Katheline Fontenot and Diana Texada, both of Swords, Delores Briley of Grand Prairie and Stella Godeaux of Ragley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Antione Godeaux, Jr; three brothers, Ferrell, Terrell and Gilbert Godeaux; and her godmother, Gloria Andrepont.
