Madeline Miller Mire

Madeline Miller Mire died on Monday, January 26, 2015, at the age of 71.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 11 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard. Fr. Wayne Doucet will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Mire; two daughters, Paula Vidrine of Eunice and Denise Johnson of Eunice; two sons, Christopher Mire of Iota and David Paul Mire of Chataignier; two sisters, Lita Sattler of Eunice and Mary Andrepont of Eunice; three brothers, J.T. Miller of Eunice, Patrick Miller of Carlys, and Chester Miller of Branch; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Yve Miller and Theresa Leger Miller; one daughter, Jennifer Mire; two brothers, Tom Miller and Alan Miller; two granddaughters, Leslie Bellard and April Miller; and three grandsons, Christopher Miller, Cody Miller, and Taylor Bellard.
Visitation at Quirk & Son will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 8 AM to 10 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM on Thursday for visitation until the time of service.
