Maudra Fontenot

Maudra Fontenot died on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Acadian Medical Center at the age of 78. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse’ Meg with Msgr. Robert Romero officiating.
Survivors include her three brothers, Manford John Fontenot and wife, Julie of Temecula, Calif., Deford Lee Fontenot and wife, Barbara of Broussard, Rayford James Fontenot and wife, Charlotte of Mamou; two sisters, Elaine Sonnier and husband, Elden of Eunice and Lynn LeBlanc of Morgan City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Mable Dupre Fontenot, and her nephew, Mike Sonnier.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s on Tuesday, January 20th from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 21st from 8:00 am until time of services. Msgr. Robert Romero will recite a Rosary at 7 pm Tuesday.
