Merryn "Susie" Richard

EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Merryn “Susie” Richard announces her passing on Monday, March 09, 2015 at Eunice Manor at the age of 54. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dustin Dought Celebrant.
Known as Susie to everyone, she was a loving sister, aunt and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two brothers, Gregory Wayne Richard and wife, Agnes of Church Point and Richard G. Richard and wife, Carolyn of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Shirley Cormier of Lafayette and Faye Blanchard and husband, Glenn of Eunice; nieces and nephews, Wesley and Nicole Blanchard, Debbie Richard, Darlene Pollard, Paula Kent and Marty Cormier.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gourney and Ella Janice Richard and a nephew, Damon Richard.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, March 10th from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, March 11th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
