Sammy Medlin

Sammy Medlin died on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 63. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 03, 2014 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.
He was a National Guard veteran and fluid engineer for Baker Hughes.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen B. Medlin of Eunice; his mother, Hilda Manuel of Eunice; his four children, Sammy “Tut” Medlin and wife, Angie, Nikki May and husband, Eric, Amber Arnaud and husband, Benny, all of Eunice, and Ashley Medlin and fiancé, Dion Gaspard of Keithville; and his brother, John Medlin of Prairie Rhonde and eight grandchildren, Gabriel Young, Alex Thibodeaux, Dylan Medlin, Logan May, Conner Arnaud, Emma Medlin, Tanner Arnaud and Addison May.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Medlin; brother, Mark Medlin; and his grandparents, Hazel and Pete Medlin and Agnes and Windy Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, April 3rd from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Wednesday.
