Bobcats place 11 on 4-4A All-District

The Eunice Bobcats finished 4-6 overall and 2-4 in District 4-4A.
As the fifth place team, the Bobcats put 11 players on the All-District list, including two players on the defensive first team.
Junior Ajyh Johnson was named first team linebacker with 40 solo tackles and 79 assists along with three tackles for loss and six sacks in district. He also caused a fumble and recovered a fumble.
Junior defensive back Travis Godfrey also earned first-team honors with 17 tackles, 15 assists, one tackle for loss and an interception.
Senior defensive linemen Keithan Green and Kenneth Bellard were named to the defensive second team along with senior defensive back Ernest Jones.
Senior running back Ty Ceasar earned a spot on the Offensive second team, along with wide receiver Godfrey.
Senior offensive linemen Troy Rideau, Alex Sonnier and Cole Prudhomme also earned second team All-District honors.
Eunice High’s John Ardoin was named to the All-District Honorable Mention list.
LaGrange’s Jules Sullen was voted as District Coach of the Year as the Gatord finished 7-5 overall but a perfect 6-0 in District 4-4A.
