Football teams scrimmage today

The area high school football teams move one step closer to their season openers with scrimmages today.
Eunice High will hold a three team scrimmage beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Iota, Kaplan and the Bobcats will all take turns on the field against each other.
With split squads, Eunice will participate in the Joe Nagata Memorial jamboree next Thursday and the St. Landry Parish jamboree on Friday.
Iota will face the Bobcats and Pirates today before taking on Crowley in the Acadia Parish jamboree next week in Church Point.
St. Edmund will take on Elton today at 5:30 p..m. before facing Port Barre in the Joe Nagata Memorial Jamboree next Thursday.
Basile will scrimmage DeQuincy today before facing Pine Prairie in the Evangeline Parish jamboree next week at Ville Platte High.
Church Point will scrimmage at Westminster Christian Academy today before taking on Rayne next week in the Acadia Parish jamboree.
Mamou will scrimmage Oberlin tomorrow before facing Ville Platte in the Evangeline Parish jamboree.
