Lady Cats to hold tourney

The annual Lady Cat Invitational Tournament is an oppportunity to see the softball games with the local teams.
Weather permitting, the tournament begins Friday night at the Eunice Recreation Complex.
St. Edmund will entertain Jennings at 3 p.m., while Ville Platte will take on Rapides.
Eunice will face Port Barre at 5 p.m., while Iota battles Kinder.
The 8 p.m. game pits Opelousas against Livonia.
Saturday’s action begins with St. Edmund - Iota and OHS - Ville Platte at 10 .a.m.
Eunice will take on Kinder at noon along with Port Barre - Jennings.
Jennings will then face Ville Platte at 3 p.m., while Rapides takes on Livonia.
Rapides will battle Opelousas at 5 p.m., while Port Barre faces Kinder.
Saturday’s varsity action concludes at 7 p.m. with Eunice taking on Iota and St Edmund battling Livonia.
There will also be a junior varsity tournament at the complex on Saturday involving Livonia, OHS, Eunice, Jennings, Kinder and Port Barre.
If Friday’s games are rained out, the tournament will move to Eunice High on Sunday.
Ville Platte would take on Rapides at 10 a.m., followed by Jennings - St. Edmund at noon.
Kinder would face Iota at 2 p.m., followed by Eunice - Port Barre at 4 p.m.
The Opelousas - Livonia match-up would conclude the tournament at 6 p.m. under the revised schedule.
