Lady Cats, Lady Jays head All-Parish

The 2014 All-St. Landry Parish softball team is led by 15 players from Eunice High and St. Edmund, including seven who earned first team honors.
St. Edmund pitcher Kasey LaFleur was selected to first team, while EHS second baseman Kaliee Lyons and third base Sadie West also earned first team honors.
St. Edmund’s Heather Bieber and Lady Cat Allison Bellard were named as first team outfielders.
Eunice’s Kate McLemore and Lady Jay Baylee LaFleur were named to first team utility players.
Eunice High catcher Mia Lejeune was named to the All-Parish second team.
Also on second team were St. Edmund first baseman Maddie Andrus, shortstop Sydney Thibodeaux, outfielder Heidi Bieber and utility player Constance Fontenot.
Honorable Mention selections included St. Edmund’s Jada Fontenot and Jami LeBouef along with Eunice High’s Heidi Pitre.
