GatorDrag to benefit foundation

GatorDrag is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its custom car and truck show.
GatorDrag 2015 will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 18 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 19 on the Frog Festival grounds in Rayne.
The event is to feature vehicle limbo, a sound competition, club tug of war and car crush.
New to GatorDrag 2015 will be live music starting at 3 p.m. provided by River Gibson, Jason Taylor, Mike Dean, the Beau Young Band and Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the grounds. No ice chests.
Registration for vehicles will be $40 on the day of the show and includes two wristbands. Awards will be given for best car, best truck, best engine, best interior, best bike, best paint, best under construction, club participation, kids choice, promoters choice and longest distance traveled. Registration for car crush/crawl (2 p.m. on Saturday) will be $20 and includes one wristband. Admission for adults will be $10 per day; weekend passes are available for $15. Children 10 and under are admitted free. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available.
