Mega Raffle Early Bird winners announced; two drawings remain
The Acadiana Mega Raffle announces 11 winners for 11 prizes in its Early Bird Drawing held July 18.
Terry Bethea of Lafayette won the first of four vehicles to be awarded in the Acadiana Mega Raffle. Bethea will select the vehicle of his choice from 12 different makes and models, including a Dodge Charger, Buick Enclave and a Chevrolet Silverado.
Tressie Cox of Lafayette won the Island of Hawaii “Big Island” Getaway Vacation. She will enjoy six days and five nights at the premier ocean-front Hawaiian resort, the Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Other top prizes in the Early Bird Drawing included jewelry from Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry. Sharon Hebert of Kaplan won the diamond stud 2-carat total weight earrings. Charles Gaspard of Kaplan won the John Hardy Sterling Silver Medium Woven Chain Bracelet and Melissa Hoover of Lafayette won the Gentlemen’s Baume and Mercier Watch.
Other winners of the Early Bird raffle were Darlene Bourque of St. Martinville and Annette Stephenson of Broussard who each won a Cuisinart Food Processor. Craig Fuselier of Breaux Bridge and Barbara Porche of Lafayette each won an Apple iPad Mini. Benjamin Moody of Lafayette and Clayton Reyerson of Maurice each won an Esky 55 Quart Super Marine Cooler.
The Acadiana Mega Raffle is ongoing through Sept.12, 2014 with two more drawings to be held for more than 1,000 prizes and a grand prize of $500,000 cash.
The second drawing will take place on Friday, Aug. 15 (ticket deadline midnight on Aug. 13) and the grand prize drawing will be held on Friday, Sept. 12 (ticket deadline midnight on September 10).
Even though the first drawing is complete, participants still have two more opportunities to win from over 1,000 prizes with a 1-in-30 chance of winning.
Tickets are in electronic form and the buyer will receive a receipt of the purchase with a randomly assigned ticket number at the time the purchase is made.
Winning tickets are never taken out of the raffle. Participation guidelines are available on www.AcadianaMegaRaffle.com.
