St. Martinville man booked on sex charges involving Sunset juvenile

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a 25-year-old St. Martinville man after he allegedly admitted to having inappropriate sexual conduct with a juvenile.
According to Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena, Dusti Smith, 25, has been arrested for 2 counts of oral sexual battery and 2 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Vizena said, “A complaint was filed with our office on May 5 by the victim and the victim’s mother. The alleged incident occurred at victim’s home in Sunset.”
Smith is currently being held in the St. Landry Parish Jail with a $60,000 bond.
Vizena did not indicate the gender of the victim, or who he/she knew Smith.
