Two more booked in officer's killing

Louisiana State Police Detectives are continuing the investigation into the shooting death of Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Allen Bares, Jr.
Based on additional information, Detectives were able to determine that 24-year-old Quintygi Richard and 28-year-old Miguel Comeaux, both of Abbeville, aided 20-year-old Quintylan Richard in eluding initial capture by law enforcement on the day the shooting took place.
Wednesday shortly after 8:30 p.m. Comeaux turned himself into Detectives at the Abbeville Police Department. Quintygi Richard was arrested at a home in Abbeville. She and Comeaux were booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail, without incident, for accessory after the fact involving 1st degree murder.
This case remains under investigation.
Richard and Baylon Taylor are charged with first-degree murder. Both have previous criminal records.
