Tour du Teche is having a flood sale on one-day races during the 2016 series of paddling marathons in October.
Entry fees have been reduced to $40 per paddler. Anyone who has already paid up can take a refund on race day or apply the overage to any of the 2017 races.

Registration open for paddling races from Shreveport to Berwick

Kayakers John Bienvenu and James Bienvenu of Lafayette come into a checkpoint on placid Bayou Teche in the Tour du Teche 135. The 275-mile Tour de la Riviere Rouge, with no checkpoints, no mandatory overnight stops, will be a lot more challenging for one- and two-paddler teams. (Ron J. Berard/Tour du Teche)

Early registration opened May 1 for all Tour du Teche paddle races, including the new ubermarathons being launched from Shreveport-Bossier City, the Tour de la Rivière Rouge and 410 de Louisiane.
And for the first time, online registration is available through Webscorer.
