Eunice man wounded in domestic incident, police say

A 40-year-old Eunice man was shot two times in a domestic incident at about 10 p.m. Monday in the Beulah Gardens area, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
The incident remained under investigation Tuesday morning, he said.
The man was shot by a .45-caliber pistol in the upper left leg and in the arm, he said. A slug was removed from the man’s abdomen after he was taken to Acadian Medical Center, he said.
There were witnesses to the shooting, which occurred outside, he said.
Police are looking for a male believed to be involved in the shoot, Fontenot said.
