Eunice police radio logs

The following are excerpts from the Eunice Police Department radio logs.
July 27
09:27 Stolen trash can, 1200 block of Rose.
09:47 Attempted break-in 100 block of Rodney.
12:43 Caller said woman tried to break into his residence in the 500 block of North 2nd.
14:25 Man said two men are trying to beat him up near Super 1 Foods.
15:14 MIssing air conditioner belonging to Bayou State Homes at 700 block of South 2nd.
16:02 Kids kicked in neighbor’s door in the 500 block of Ida.
18:06 100 block of West Magnolia. Woman said man punched her in the mouth and threatened her with scissors. Incident happened two days ago and a report was filed.
22:18 Caller said someone parked his vehicle in his yard and was told it was a civil matter since it was on private property. Caller was also told he had to call a tow truck to have it removed. The caller got irate and threatened to damage the vehicle, and was told he would got to jail.
22:23 Caller in the 200 block of Roosevelt said a group of hippies threw some items in her yard. Situation was settled amongst themselves.
23:07 Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office called and said woman had stolen son’s license plate off his vehicle and he wants it returned or charges will be filed.
23:30 Caller said she saw lights in house across from her residence on South 3rd. Subject is nephew of owner.
