Police: Woman taken to hospital after pizza attack

A 41-year-old Eunice woman was taken to Acadian Medical Center for treatment after she was hit in the face with a hot pizza on Thursday, according to an entry in the Eunice Police Department radio logs.
“The pizza was still hot, which made it more painful for her,” Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Sallie Ann Newton and Shane W. Daigle, both of the 100 block of Crestview Loop, got into a domestic squabble and the pizza started flying, he said.
“That squabble got a little saucy,” Fontenot said.
When the officer arrived, Newton had pieces of cheese on her and a slice of pepperoni stuck on her head, he said
Daigle had scratches on him, he said.
Newton told police Daigle attempted to stab her, Fontenot said.
The incident was reported to police at 1:40 p.m. Thursday.
Newton and Daigle were charged with domestic abuse battery.
Newton was treated and released from Acadian Medical Center.

Comments

The sauce and seasoning will perhaps improve Sallie's overall bouquet. Shane should make sure his shots are up to date as I'm told Salllie scratches can be deadly. POOYIE!
