The condition of West Maple Avenue is back on the Eunice Board of Aldermen’s agenda on Tuesday.
The Board is to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Eunice Municipal Complex, 300 S. 2nd St.

There are three options to repair state-owned roads in Eunice, State Rep. Phillip DeVillier, R-Eunice, said at Tuesday’s meeting of the Board of Aldermen.

The replacement of the bridge on Maple Avenue at the Bobcat Drive intersection may start by summer, Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot told Eunice Kiwanis Club members Thursday.

Drains with sharp drop-offs on U.S. 190 in Eunice will be altered to make them more vehicle friendly, Bill Olivier, state Department of Transportation and Development district engineer administrator said.

Effective Monday, April 18, traffic control changes will take place on Coulee Road westbound, at its intersection with La. 3068 (Refinery Road), south of Basile in Acadia Parish. A stop sign will be installed on Coulee Road westbound, at its intersection with La.
