Now that his children are grown and moved out, John R. Young has filled his empty nest with classic cars.

Festival receives $10k from state; French official visits Eunice

The Experience Louisiana Festival had a big day Thursday as it learned of a $10,000 state grant for marketing and met with Gregor Trumel, consul general for the Consulate General of France in Louisiana.

Experience Louisiana Festival planning takes a focus on youth

The food, music and culture of Louisiana has been the focus of Experience Louisiana Festival planners.
But a pivot toward youth was suggested by the Charles Larroque, executive director of the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana.
