2016 pecan crop struggling in Louisiana, nationwide

Louisiana pecan growers who were eager to bounce back from a less-than-stellar crop last year will likely have their hopes dashed this year, with smaller-than-usual harvests predicted for the state and nationwide.

Eunice Player’s ‘Black Coffee’
Eunice Players’ Theatre will present “Black Coffee” an Agatha Christie comedy murder mystery.
Show dates are at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. There will be a dinner theater at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
