98th Birthday celebration

Inez Guidry Montz celebrated her 98th birthday on Oct. 27 with family members.
Montz was born on Oct. 27, 1916, in Reserve, LA. She moved to Eunice in 1938 with her late husband Elmore J. Montz, Sr. and the couple reared 9 children: Elmore Montz Jr., of Lafayette, Virginia Montz LeDoux of Lafayette, Ruth Montz Nelson of Albuquerque N.M., John (Jebby) Montz of Cade, LA, Madeleine Montz Mouton of Parks, LA, Charles (Charlie) Montz of Eunice, Thomas (Tommy) Montz of Maurice, Eva (Lulu) Montz Veron of Houston, and Catherine (Mimi) Montz Anderson of Lafayette.
Montz moved to Lafayette in 1988 were she still resides today.
She is the grandmother of 29 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 48.
