Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/5K

The Ninth Annual Savoy Cancer Foundation Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/5K was held recently with a theme of “Cajun Girls Can Survive.” A large crowd turned out in support of the cause and a lot of money was raised. Participants enjoyed a Zumba warm up and then live music and snacks at the La Cabon Pavilion following the walk. Above are survivors participating in the event. (LSN photo by Heather Bogard)
