Central Middle School celebrates Lunchroom Week

As part of National Lunchroom Week celebration, Central Middle School’s faculty and staff honored Sandra Edwards, Cafeteria Manager, by wearing yellow ribbons to symbolize unity. Other activities included a school lunch art contest for students where the winners received prizes and their work was on display in the cafeteria.  Central Middle School involved parents in the week’s activities by asking members of the CMS Parent Volunteers Organization to submit copies of their favorite lunch recipes.  Several submissions were received, and parents were presented certificates of commendation.  A CMS Parent Culinary Collection recipe book will be created using the recipes as part of  the school’s upcoming holiday activities.
