Eunice celebrates 20 years of Main Street

Eunice receives 30 years recognition - Main Street

The city of Eunice has been a Main Street community since 1998. In 30 years, Louisiana Main Street has leveraged a total of 2,526 new businesses, leading to a net 10,710 new jobs. In total, the value of reinvestments in Main Streets during the program’s existence amounts to over $544.5 million. Volunteer information has only been tracked for the past 10 years, but in that time, a total of 104,621 volunteers have amassed 778,348 volunteer hours for Main Streets. This is revitalization in action! The state is excited to honor the Main Street Communities with a certificate celebrating 30 years of Main Street. From left are Ray Scriber, Director La.
