Keep Eunice Beautiful recycling artwork
As part of Keep Eunice Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, children enjoyed creating art by using recyclable materials. They collected empty paper towel rolls as well as empty toilet paper rolls, brought their pair of scissors, and created pieces of art at the Eunice Community Art house, located at N. Second Street. This event was part of National Recycling Month. There were 20 children participating on Nov. 23. Adult volunteers Becky Pucheu, Jerica Guillory, Donna Baltakis, and Sheila Cormier were on hand to assist the kids. Top photo are Donna Baltakis and Becky Pucheu, volunteer, assisting children.
