Louisiana Regions projects at Glendale Elementary

Students in Mallie LaFleur’s third-grade class at Glendale Elementary created dioramas on one of Louisiana’s three main land regions. Students had the opportunity to chose one region, from the Mississippi River Plain, West Gulf Coastal Plain, or the East Gulf Coastal Plain. Clay, paint, construction paper, and craft items were used to display the landforms, bodies of water, wildlife, natural resources, and other features that could be found in the region’s environment.
