Matinee performance today
Suzanne LaHaye, as Veta, left, and Bonnie Pitre as Nurse Kelly are part of the cast of “Harvey.” The Eunice Players’ Theatre presents the classic comedy, “Harvey”, written by Mary Chase. This three-act comedy follows the kindly gentleman, Elwood P. Dowd, and his sister, Veta, who is tired of sharing her life with Elwood’s six-foot invisible rabbit, Harvey. She attempts to commit Elwood in the sanitarium and that is when the antics begin. “Harvey” is scheduled for Nov. 18, 20 and 22, with curtain at 7 p.m. There will also be two matinees, today and Nov. 23, with curtain at 2 p.m. There will be a dinner theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 19, with a steak dinner catered by Ruby’s Restaurant and Courtyard starting at 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased by calling David’s Hair Salon at 546-0163 or Debi Crawford at 457-2979. Season ticket holders are encouraged to make their reservations for this final show of the Eunice Players’ Theatre 45th season.
