Players' "The Glass Menagerie" opens tonight

The Eunice Players’ Theatre’s, “The Glass Menagerie” will open for their first performance at 7 p.m. today. Above, Kristi Burleigh and Andy Noel rehearse a scene from “The Glass Menagerie.” The two-act play by Tennessee Williams is known in American theatre as a classic, and one of its most important plays. Filled with great tenderness, charm and beauty, the memory play is a must-see for any theatre-goer. The show will be presented at Eunice Players’ Theatre (121 S. Second St.) Friday, Nov. 19, 20, 21 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 15 at 2 pm. Dinner theatre is set for Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 for individual tickets for all ages. Tickets may be purchased at David’s Limited (204 S. Second St, Eunice), or by calling 337-546-0163 to charge by phone. Visa and MasterCard are accepted for advance sales but not at the door.
