An "up close" with EPK K-9 Poolow at Eunice Elementary

On Tuesday during Red Ribbon Week at Eunice Elementary Eunice Police Officer and Canine Handler Richard Abadie and his K-9 “Poolow” paid a visit to Eunice Elementary. Officer Abadie talked to the students about the work duties of Poolow and how he is trained to “sniff” out drugs. Officer Abadie encouraged and urged students to “stay away from drugs.” Tuesday was also a “free” dress day for students as they chose their favorite “Drug Free -Team T-shirt” to wear.
