"Harvey" rehearsals underway

Actors are busy preparing to open the third show of the Eunice Players’ Theatre season with “Harvey”. The production is set for opening night on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Single tickets are now available for purchase for the comedy about a man, Elwood, along with his pooka who sees the good in all people. The only thing is that his pooka happens to be a six-foot rabbit who is invisible to all unless they desire to see him. This three-act comedy was written by Mary Chase first as a Broadway show and then brought to the big screen starring Jimmy Stewart. “Harvey” continues Nov. 13, 18, 20 and 22, with curtain at 7 p.m. Dinner theatre is set for Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. with a steak dinner catered by Ruby’s Restaurant. There will be two matinee performances on Sunday, Nov. 16 and 23 with curtain at 2 p.m. All season ticket holders are encouraged to make their reservations for this comedy and single tickets can be purchased at David’s Hair Salon at 546-0163 or from Debi Crawford at 457-2979.
