Right to Life speaker at St. Edmund School

Sarah Mary Toce, regional coordinator from Louisiana Right to Life, visited St. Edmund Catholic School Tuesday to talk to the 7th-12th grade students on what it really means to be Pro-Life. Topics included the facts about Planned Parenthood and its roots, common myths about abortion, Roe vs. Wade and what exactly is the unborn. Toce said, “Compassion is so necessary when dealing with the issues that drive women to consider abortion. It is necessary to know there are two victims involved.” After recently being endorsed by the Catholic Diocese, St. Edmund hopes to invite pro-life educators into their Campus Ministry efforts annually.
