St. Edmund High Girl & Boys State delegates

Maggie Miller and Thaddeus Richard, both seniors, represented St. Edmund Catholic School this summer in the 2014 Louisiana Girls and Boys State Citizenship Training Program sponsored by the American Legion. While attending the program, both students were members of a mock House of Representatives. Miller wrote a bill to replace all 1 ply bathroom tissue with 2 ply, and Richard wrote a bill to lower the driving age to 15 for families with
economic hardships. Both bills were passed in the program.
