Symphony Concert commemorated by special postmark

A unique philatelic item will be available at the April 19 concert of the Eunice Symphony Orchestra. A pictorial postmark commemorating this event will make a very special souvenir.
According to Nancy Simon of Symphony Concert, “At the concert at the Liberty Theater, the Postal Service will be applying the postmark shown with a hand canceling device. Those attending the concert may obtain hand-back service by presenting an addressed or unaddressed envelope or postcard with sufficient First Class Mail postage at the temporary station.
“A clerk will apply the pictorial postmark and hand the item back to you.
The Postal Service will provide mail-back service to those unable to attend the concert. The availability of the Eunice Symphony Orchestra postmark will be announced in the Postal Bulletin, so collectors across the country and around the world can request this unique postmark by mailing pre-stamped envelopes and cards to the Eunice Post Office.
