Goodhope Place Apartments tenants enjoyed a game of Bingo/Safety activity on Aug. 11. The manager spoke to them about how to safely take medications, how to cook and how to prevent fires in kitchen areas.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at 6 p.m. will present a Night of Country Classics with Yvetee Landry & Ganey Arsement.
Tickets are $5 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the door beginning at 4 p.m.

Samarie Guillory, 10, was named grand prize winner of a drawing at the conclusion summer reading program held at Eunice Library. Walmart in Eunice, each summer donates a bicycle for the library’s grand prize winner.
Glendale Elementary welcomed parents and students to its open house Tuesday evening. Parents met their children’s teachers and brought school supplies. Principal Laura Lombas was on campus answering questions and concerns of parents.
