Lt. Higgins speaks to seniors at First Baptist Church
The man with the hat..”Everywhere I go people say,” I like the hat.”
Lt. Higgins was the guest speaker at First Baptist Church in Eunice’s monthly senior luncheon.
Lt. Clay Higgins with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff spoke to a group of seniors July 30.
Eunice High junior Kendall Fontenot, fourth from left, competed and was elected as a Louisiana Area III FFA officer this year. Fontenot will represent the Southwestern quarter of Louisiana in the upcoming school year. His parents are Debra Fontenot and Charles Fontenot.

The Eunice Players’ Theatre will hold auditions for its final play of the 46th season, “The Glass Menagerie” on Monday and Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Director Denise Fusilier needs two adult men whose age range, early- to late-20s to fill the cast.
