The Eunice Recreation Center held its annual Cheer Camp the week of July 6. An additional camp was held this week. Cheer team leader was Johnette Pitre. Volunteer junior high and high school cheerleaders led the young future cheerleaders in chants, cheers, cheer dance routine and stunts.
This week’s Student of the Week is Lauren Burnett, a sixth-grader at Central Middle School. Her parents are Telly and John Burnett.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Hawaii because of its beauty.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at 6 p.m. will present performances by Jackie Caillier, Ivy Dugas & the Cajun Cousins.
Tickets are $5 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the door beginning at 4 p.m.
