The Eunice Community Garden sponsored and hosted a “Canning, Preserving, Freezing, Dehydrating Fruits & Vegetables” program Tuesday afternoon at the Continuing Education building on LSU Eunice campus.

A stop at German Heritage Museum in Roberts Cove
On July 17, approximately 50 people from Opelousas and Ville Plate visited the German Heritage Museum in Roberts Cove. The visitors were Council on Aging groups traveling under the direction of Alice Lewis of St. Landry Parish and Janice Fontenot of Evangeline Parish.
Milton sisters donate all Lemonade proceeds to local shelter
“Mission Accomplished...and Pay It Forward”-- Anya Milton, 5, left, and Siobhan Milton, 8, daughters of Rachel Martel Milton and granddaughters of Augie and Gwen Courville of Eunice, sold cups of cold lemonade last week to raise money for less-fortunate children at the Welcome House in Maxie.
"Stuff The Bus" school supply drive
