The city of Eunice has been a Main Street community since 1998. In 30 years, Louisiana Main Street has leveraged a total of 2,526 new businesses, leading to a net 10,710 new jobs. In total, the value of reinvestments in Main Streets during the program’s existence amounts to over $544.5 million.

Central Middle School students participated in the St. Landry Parish Composition Writing Contest at the St. Landry Parish Resource Center in Opelousas on April 30. Winners were announced and recognized by Principal Ranolviaun Landry. Above are the writing participants.
